We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our SafeBase team as an Adoption Support Social Worker. Our SafeBase service supports adoptive parents and carers to understand their child's behaviour and strengthen attachments within the family. We are looking for people with experience in working with children and adults who have been significantly affected by loss. You will have a good understanding of how adoption affects all parties. You will also co-facilitate our very successful SafeBase Parenting Programmes and undertake family observation assessments. Good communication skills and assessment/report writing are essential. 
The successful candidate will be CQSQ, Dip SW qualified and registered with the relevant social care council. They must also have good knowledge of the Adoption and Children's Act and accompanying guidance and all secondary legislation.
