We firmly believe that foster care transforms lives, and as the UK’s leading membership organisation dedicated to improving outcomes for children and young people in care, we have plenty of support to offer to families coming forward to foster, as well as agencies and professionals. At CoramBAAF, we publish the latest research as well as offering workshops, seminars and conferences to our members to help to ensure foster families and professionals are confident, well-prepared and best able to look after for children in care.

If you’re thinking about becoming a foster carer, Foster Care Fortnight is a great time to learn about what fostering involves, the different ways that you can foster, and the training and support that you would receive as a foster carer. The transformative impact of fostering can be incredible, whether you’re a foster family, a foster child or a professional, so if you think that fostering might be for you, we encourage you to find out more this Foster Care Fortnight.
