This open course on planning and sustaining good contact will look at contact for children with plans for permanency and adoption.
- What are the risks and benefits?
- How do you ascertain wishes and feelings?
- How do we keep the child at the centre?
- What might things look like in 5 years time?
There will be opportunities to consider relevant research and support needs. It will include looking at best practice for letterbox arrangements.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
It is especially suitable for Social Workers and Managers in permanency teams, home finders, and Panel Chairs.
