BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Our open courses, events and conferences are dependent on numbers. We advise you not to book non-refundable travel or accommodation until you have received a final booking confirmation from us. Final booking confirmation will only be sent once the event has achieved viability.

If you can no longer attend the event, a substitute may be sent in your place until the event date. Please notify us of this change as soon as possible.

For open courses only – you can request to transfer to another open course within the current programme in writing no later than 5 working days prior to the course date.  If a transfer is possible, this may only be actioned once. Full payment will be charged for cancellation at any time thereafter.

CANCELLATION FEES

The following cancellation fees will apply if you cancel your booking:

Following receipt of written confirmation of the event - 25% of event fee
Cancellation between two and four weeks prior to the event - 50% of event fee
Cancellation within 14 days of the event - 100% of event fee

CANCELLATION BY CORAMBAAF

  • CoramBAAF reserves the right to cancel at any time, for reasons including but not limited to, low attendee numbers, venue issues, equipment or speaker availability.
  • Notification will be provided within 21 days of the event whenever possible and delegates will be refunded the full fee.
  • CoramBAAF is not liable for any direct, or indirect, consequential or special damages that may be incurred due to the cancellation of an event, including cancellation penalties for transportation or accommodation.

CANCELLATION/RE-SCHEDULING OF COMMISSIONED TRAINING

The following charges are applicable in case of cancellation: 

  • After receipt of signed contract:
    25% of the agreed training fee
    100% of the agreed bespoke course development fee
    100% of any expenses incurred
  • Three weeks prior to agreed date:
    100% of the agreed training fee 
    100% of the agreed bespoke course development fee 
    100% of any expenses incurred   

As the commissioning agency, you may request to reschedule training once up to three weeks before the training event.  Where you request to re-schedule a training date within three weeks of the training event, the event will be deemed a cancellation and the relevant cancellation fee will apply. 

Due to our trainer's schedules, should a rescheduled training event be cancelled by you, the following cancellation fees will apply: 

  • Up to four weeks prior to rescheduled date:
    50% of the agreed training fee 
    100% of any expenses incurred  
  • Less than four weeks prior to rescheduled date:
    100% of the agreed training fee
    100% of any expenses incurred  

RECORDING DISCLAIMER

During an event we may do one or all of the following:

  • Take photographs/screenshots
  • Record all audio and video from the event
  • Live stream the event
  • Use any image from the event in CoramBAAF publicity materials
  • All video and audio is the property of CoramBAAF
  • Open course recordings may be used for quality and training purposes and retained for a maximum of one year
  • Other event recordings may be shared with CoramBAAF members and the wider public
