CoramBAAF proud to endorse submission to Work and Pensions Select Committee inquiry ‘Children in poverty: Measurement and targets’
The Kinship Care Alliance has today made its submission to the Work and Pensions Select Committee inquiry ‘Children in poverty: Measurement and targets’.
The submission evidences how children raised by relatives or friends are particularly exposed to the the risk of living in poverty.
John Simmonds, Director of Policy, Research and Development at CoramBAAF said:
Kinship carers who take on the care of children have a significant set of responsibilities but often with withering financial support. Our signing up to the submission of the Kinship Care Alliance is one of the most important things we have recently done.
