Working with separated migrant children - the new normal
CoramBAAF members, partner agencies and other stakeholders are invited to attend a webinar discussing findings from the study ‘Supporting separated migrant children to thrive during COVID-19’ which will take place on Friday 17 December 10.00-11.00.
The study carried out by the University of Stirling and supported by CoramBAAF, the Scottish Guardianship Service (SGS), the Hands Up Project and Terre des Hommes has explored ways of working with separated migrant children that emerged during the pandemic with a particular focus on legal services and social work services. Two guest speakers: Andy Sirel, a human rights lawyer and the Legal Director & Partner at JustRight Scotland, and Dr Gemma North, an independent research consultant will also share their experiences.
