The post holder will be employed by Cumberland Council as the host authority for adoption services, while delivering services across Cumberland and Westmorland and Furness Councils.
Experience in care planning, performance management and Adoption work is required, along with up to date knowledge of adoption research and practice. The team works with children with a plan of adoption through to Adoption Order. The post holder will work closely and proactively with the Children’s care planning teams and also with the other Adoption teams to ensure children with a plan of adoption can be supported to live in their permanent family at the earliest opportunity.
This is a part time post working alongside the current experienced Team Manager, who is reducing her working hours.
