As of May 2025, Independent Fostering Providers (IFP) Practice Forum has merged with Fostering Practice Forum. Please visit the Fostering Practice Forum page to see upcoming meeting dates and join the group. Opportunities will be given within meetings for the two groups to converse separately in breakout rooms.

CoramBAAF’s Fostering Practice Forum provides a unique opportunity to discuss professional practice and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues. 

The forums will help you to keep up-to-date about national policy and law, contribute to policy development, and refer topics and examples of good practice to CoramBAAF’s advisory committees.

Membership

The Fostering Practice Forum is open to:  

  • Staff from Local Authority fostering services who are in full CoramBAAF membership
  • Staff from Independent Fostering Provider agencies who are in full CoramBAAF membership 

  • Individual members of CoramBAAF - please note that individual members can only access one Practice Forum.
