Impacts on physical health can be both positive and negative with many resources available to support children and young people with specific health conditions or offer appropriate information around risk taking behaviour. There are direct impacts of poor sleep from using digital resources immediately before bedtime and a theory of online activities replacing physical activity and time in the outside world. There are also concerns about health misinformation and disinformation leading to increased vulnerability as well as the impact of body image and influencers.
