Adopt South, have recently been awarded a Department of Education two-year investment, to fund the exploration, creation and development of a multi-agency model of support, for families and their children.
The role will encompass in-person and online consultations to families and children impacted by behaviour, trauma and/or attachment, as well as knowledge building and learning for families and groups.
At the core of the work Adopt South offers is an understanding of developmental trauma and the application of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy both theoretically and clinically to support families. Adopt South also uses a number of other therapeutic approaches with an attachment lens including Video Interaction Guidance, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Non-Violent Resistance.
This is an exciting new opportunity, so we are looking for someone who has the enthusiasm and motivation to support us with our growth and transformational practice as a team, as well as sharing our values for all children to reach their full potential.
We welcome applications from Qualified and Newly Qualified Clinical Psychologists and if necessary will support the successful applicant with DDP training, or further DDP training, and to become certified in using Virtual Reality (VR) within your work.
