We are seeking an experienced data analyst to work with us to support our delivery of outstanding outcomes for children with a plan for adoption and adopted families through our Regional Adoption Agency. You will be working closely with local authority data analyst teams on regular data collection and submissions, and with colleagues within the RAA and Coram Adoption to improve data collection and analysis. You will be required to present regular reports on performance to various settings and will have a number of opportunities to engage in service development both within the Coram Group, within the wider RAA and at national level. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

Main duties and responsibilities:
• Work with participant authorities’ Data and Performance Analysts and the RAA Managers to establish clear systems and methods for effective recording of performance data and accuracy for national submission regarding adopted children and families.
• Collection, quality assurance and recording of the data required by the RAA using the Coram – I tool.
• Using selected tools for the RAA, analyse all relevant performance data to provide insight into how to improve performance and efficiency of the service in the context of permanency options for children, the child and adopter journeys.
• Write reports and presentations for the RAA Strategic Governance Board and work with Managing Director of Coram Ambitious for Adoption and other managers to clearly set out the findings from any analysis undertaken and make recommendations.
• Support the delivery of qualitative and quantitative analyses for Coram Ambitious for Adoption RAA, using data as a tool for performance enhancement and enabling clear targets to be set as the service develops.
• Develop solutions or alternative practices to overcome issues faced by participant authorities and others in relation to the collection of and analysis of data.
• Recommend changes to management information systems that will help improve the collection and use of data and mobilise new solutions as relevant to meeting the goals of the service.
• Work with colleagues within the Coram Ambitious for Adoption RAA and Coram Adoption to support work stream activity to improve service delivery.
