Registered Manager

Assured Fostering is a family-owned fostering agency that has recently been successfully registered by Ofsted. We have an office base in Bolton and will cover the Greater Manchester region. We have invested and worked hard to put in place the resources and structure that will allow us to succeed and develop at a gentle pace, offering support to foster carers and the children that are entrusted to their care. This includes tailored IT / recording systems to support foster carers and the team, specifically written policies and procedures that place the emphasis on support, and a hybrid working week that will allow some flexibility for staff. 
 

If you are looking for a new challenge or change within your fostering career, then this role may be of interest and would suit an experienced Fostering Manager who may be looking for a chance to lead, shape and develop a small independent fostering agency, or an experienced Fostering Senior Practitioner who has gained experience of supporting and supervising staff and wants to take the next step up into a Registered Manager role and be willing to undertake additional training for the role.

• You will be a qualified social worker registered with SWE.
• Have excellent communication and administrative skills.
• Be creative and have the drive and ambition to develop a new fostering service.
• Have experience within the independent fostering sector.
• Have excellent knowledge of fostering legislation and guidance.
• Have the ability to run the day-to-day practice and business aspects of the fostering agency.
• Have the ability to satisfy Ofsted as a Registered Manager (Fostering Regulations 2011)
