As Registered Manager, you will promote the values and objectives, and drive the vision, of the Agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing Vineyard’s business operations, ensuring that placement and foster carer recruitment targets are met, delivering high quality and safe family placement services to children and young people, and developing and maintaining good links with Local Authorities and other professional partner and stakeholders.

Reporting to the Service Director, you will be expected to provide strong leadership to staff and foster carers, monitor performance and progress and be accountable for ensuring that all regulatory requirements and compliance matters are fully met.

Person Specification
The successful candidate will have:

• Social Work England Registration
• Experience of developing or managing a fostering service. We will also consider senior social workers with relevant experience in fostering and excellent knowledge of the fostering regulations, standards and procedures and are willing to take additional training to meet the demands of the role.
• Experience of dealing with Local Authorities and other professionals and stakeholders
• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership or be willing to undertake this qualification on commencing the role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and prioritise activities.
• Ability to meet targets and grow the agency through active recruitment of foster carers.
• Ability to manage a team, promote collaboration and use initiative.
• High level of literacy, numeracy, and computer skills
• Access to a vehicle
• Willingness to adapt to new ways of working, be flexible and creative.
