Independent Fostering Panel Member Surrey County Council is seeking to appoint independent members to sit on our Fostering Panel. These roles are independent from Surrey County Council. As an independent member the postholder's work may be a combination of virtual fostering panels as well as some office working from our office in Woking or  Reigate. At interview the postholder will be asked about which location/s they are able to attend. Surrey County Council £300 for a full day or £150 for half a day. A call for papers: ‘Adoption & Fostering’ Special Issue

In 2026 it will be 100 years since the Adoption of Children Act 1926 was first introduced. Although the legislation still stands, there have been numerous changes during this period. ‘Adoption & Fostering’ is inviting contributions for a Special Issue to reflect on adoption in England and Wales.
