Chairing disruption meetings
Adoption disruption is a complex and emotionally fraught situation for all involved. The adoption disruption meeting aims to facilitate understanding of different perspectives, and potential contributary factors as well as deepen understanding of the child’s needs to inform future planning. The role of the chair in facilitating these meeting is therefore a complex one, requiring skill and experience. This course will provide guidance on how to conduct and chair these important meetings.
