Registered Manager- Fostering We are looking for a Registered Manager to join Empower Fostering service. The postholder will ensure we provide the highest quality of service to children and young people placed through the Agency. A requirement of the role is also to support and develop other areas of service as the business requires.  The postholder will maintain the company’s successful Independent Fostering Agency retaining at minimum the Good Ofsted rating achieved and proactively develop the service to achieve an Outstanding rating, in accordance with relevant legislation, procedures and policies. The postholder will develop and deliver service delivery plans and continually contribute to business development and growth, in line with the company’s ethos and vision. Fostering Deputy Team Manager Are you an experienced Advanced Practitioner, Senior Supervising Social Worker or Team Leader with experience in Foster Care? Evergreen Foster Care is growing, and we're looking for someone with the passion, experience and ambition to join our leadership team. The postholder will work directly alongside our Registered Manager, helping lead a friendly multidisciplinary team while continuing to maintain a small caseload to keep connected to front line practice. The postholder will support and develop a team of Supervising Social Workers and lead good social work practice. The postholder will support Ofsted compliance and help shape the future of a growing therapeutic fostering agency. This open course will explore general planning for and facilitation of panels and complex meetings in the children’s sector. It will explore time management and group facilitation whilst holding the child at the centre of thinking, recommendations and decision making. It will enable Chairs of meetings to consider good practice and approaches to effectively managing the flow of information, summarising and the formation of key action plans.

Panel advisors: their role and responsibilities for fostering and permanency panels

Panel advisors have a complex role in managing the relationship between the agency and the panel, quality assuring and feeding back to all involved in panel work. This open course will enable panel advisors to examine this role in detail and build on effective practice as they carry out their role and responsibilities including: quality assurance; inducting new panel members; contributing to the appraisals of panel members; feeding back issues to the agency and working with the agency decision maker. Case scenarios, group work and practice application will provide opportunities for panel advisors to address shared dilemmas and good practice.
