Key learning outcomes include understanding global adoption practices, addressing the identity needs of adopted children, exploring brain development in childhood and adolescence, and best practices for supporting adult adopters.

The Competition and Markets Authority have released a report that highlights significant areas of concern within privately owned fostering agencies and providers. Some are not consistently meeting the holistic needs of a child/young person and
high fees hamstring efforts by local authorities to implement the recommendations made.

Independent Social Worker (Form F Assessor) We are looking for independent assessing social workers to undertake Form F assessments. This is a hybrid working role and you will assess prospective foster carers using a combination of video calling and face-to-face visits before making a recommendation of their fostering suitability.
