In collaboration with Proud 2B Parents. This essential and exciting webinar will give an overview of Proud 2B Parents, together with lived experiences. There will also be a Q&A session for attendees to put their questions.

This webinar will cover: 

• terminology to use in terms of sexual orientation and terms to avoid 
• terminology to use in terms of gender identity and terms to avoid 
• meeting the child's needs including relevant research and building confidence to engage positively with LGBTQ+ foster carers
• recommendations for inclusive practice both for the panel, assessing social workers and supervising social workers

For social workers, reflection on this session may contribute to your continuing professional development (CPD).
