When we complete assessments of prospective adopters, it is crucial that we create safe and supportive environments for all applicants, including those who identify as transgender, non-binary, or gender diverse. This training is designed to help us explore key terminology, reflect on our own values and practice, understand relevant legislation, and ensure we are providing inclusive and affirming assessments, while also keeping the child central to those assessments.
Learning outcomes
