Unconscious bias: understanding diversity and discrimination (half day)

We all need self-awareness of our biases, assumptions and privileges. This half-day training aims to challenge your understanding of the meaning of diversity and will be a highly interactive exploration of equality, intersectionalityand inclusion. Delivered by our specialist trainer, Ashley will encourage you to investigate different manifestations of unconscious and conscious bias in a safe and supportive format. This is an EDI session like no other and promises to be fun as well as thought provoking.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the session, participants will have:

• Explored unconscious biases in a safe and supportive environment.
• Reflected on the impact of beliefs about the concepts of equality, diversity and inclusion on decision making.
• Been encouraged to openly discuss potentially difficult subjects affecting practice.
