This role is an essential part of CoramBAAF’s multi-disciplinary offer for CoramBAAF members, providing expertise, knowledge and experience of health practice and policy within Adoption, Kinship and Foster care. The postholder will work alongside CoramBAAF's existing Health Consultant to provide leadership and direction in respect of CoramBAAF’s goal to promote positive health outcomes for care experienced children and young people including adopted children and children in kinship care. The postholder will help to develop policy and good practice guidance for health and social care professionals and services in a multi-disciplinary context. The postholder will facilitate the CoramBAAF Health Group and the Health Advisory Committee and ensure that the work of the health group continuously develops.

Coram is looking for enthusiastic and confident Creche Workers and Lead Workers to support our Saturday therapeutic parenting groups. The children’s group runs at the same time as the parents’ sessions; offering a safe, nurturing space for children aged 3 to 8. The postholder will be part of a small experienced team providing consistent care and play based activities for a group of 8 to 10 children. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children, values routine and continuity, and are confident supporting a mixed age group.

The Senior Information and Library Officer post is designed to increase our focus on developing and delivering high-quality library and information services to CoramBAAF colleagues, members and visitors. The role is ideal for someone who wants to build on their existing knowledge, skills and experience in a small, friendly and busy team, and who would relish the being part of an evolving service and taking on responsibility for supervising volunteers. The post holder will join CoramBAAF at an exciting time as we move forward with our Library Management System replacement project and plans to develop our specialist library, which is now located in a newly renovated space as part of the Institute for Children on the Coram campus.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with strong membership, organisational and communications skills and experience and a desire to provide high quality services to members and customers. The Member Services Manager will provide leadership and line management across both membership and the forms licence scheme. The postholder will maximise income from CoramBAAF membership and ensure its continued reach and relevance. They will also maximise income from the forms licence scheme and actively promote its importance as a key member benefit. Importantly they will strengthen engagement with members to ensure retention whilst also increasing reach and awareness nationally to recruit new members.

Independent Social Work Assessor

Barnardo’s wish to recruit Independent Social Workers to help with our adoption work in the East & West Midlands, Birmingham, Thames Valley, Bristol, Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset areas. We are looking for qualified and experienced Social Workers who have experience of carrying out adoption assessments. The role will include initial visits to prospective adopters, completing full adoption assessments and writing AARs (Adoption Assessment Reports), reporting to Panel, and occasional additional work to support our families, such as attending reviews or matching panels.
