Working with Muslim heritage children in care

During our Learning from Research webinar, we looked at how the care sector can work with children from Muslim backgrounds and ensure their placements recognise and meet the ethnic, cultural, religious and linguistic needs of this population. The content included in this webinar is designed for frontline social workers, social work supervisors and managers, and other professionals working directly with children and young people.

Episode 38 | The AFDiT Framework

The AFDiT framework is an initiative by Adoption England, in collaboration with the University of Sussex and The British Academy. It aims to improve positive identity outcomes for children in transracial adoption. It was developed through a process of co-creation involving social work practitioners, individuals with lived experiences of transracial adoption, and organisations including CoramBAAF and Adoption South East.
