Department for Education
The Department for Education is responsible for children’s services and education, including early years, schools, higher and further education policy, apprenticeships and wider skills in England. It is also responsible for supporting professionals who work with children, young people, and adult learners; helping disadvantaged children and young people to achieve more and making sure that local services protect and support children. We are delighted to be welcoming representatives of the DfE to share the reform agenda with CoramBAAF members and the wider social work sector.
WHO'S IT FOR
This event is designed for social workers, team managers working in kinship fostering and local authority leaders across England who want to understand how the government’s upcoming fostering reforms may shape their work.
For social workers, reflection on this session may contribute to your continuing professional development (CPD).
