The post holder will also hold registered manager status with Ofsted and be a subject expert for the team in the areas which fall within your remit. Assistant Team Manager, Adoption Team
Assistant Team Manager, Adoption Team We are looking for an Assistant Team Manager. Working closely with the Team Manager, the post holder will provide support and supervision to a team of dedicated and experienced social workers. This will include managing workloads across the team as well as coaching and supervising team members to ensure that the highest standards of quality and professional practice are achieved and maintained, and they reach their full potential. In addition, the post holder will carry their own small caseload and deputise for the Team Manager as needed.
Parents And Children Together Salary range from £37,917 - £46,344 per annum, plus a regional allowance of £3,299 per annum. Based in London with Hybrid Working 37
Independent Social Worker
Independent Social Worker Barnardo’s wish to recruit Independent Social Workers to help with fostering and adoption work in the South West, Midlands and Thames Valley areas (particularly seeking applicants who can cover Bristol). The post holders will have experience of carrying out adoption or fostering assessments. The candidates will work independently as an external consultants on a freelance basis, and will be supervised and supported in work by a Practice Manager and will be invited to training events and external consultant forums on a regular basis. The role will include initial visits or video calls to prospective adopters and foster carers, completing full adoption and fostering assessments and writing AARs (Adoption Assessment Reports) or Form Fs, reporting to Panel, and occasional additional work to support our families, such as attending reviews or matching panels. There is an agreed fee for completing this work and travel expenses are paid, as well as occasional essential accommodation.
