Fostering Panel Advisor and Review Chair The postholder will be integral to the continued growth of the service by providing advice to the fostering panel and by taking on responsibility for the oversight of foster carer reviews following team manager quality assurance. Fostering panels take place virtually. However, the postholder will be expected to attend the office for relevant meetings, personal supervision and training days. Fostering Panel Chair The role of Panel Chair is crucial to our success in improving outcomes for our Children in Care. The postholder will need to have experience and confidence in effectively chairing complex meetings with a range of stakeholders, underpinned by a sound understanding of Fostering Panel processes and the legislative landscape within which the panel operates, including Safeguarding procedures.  BCP Council £500 per panel; this includes reading and preparation time and covers the costs of the Panel Chair’s Annual Report. Panels are currently held virtually, but there is consideration to develop a hybrid model to include some face to face panels. 9.00 – 13.00 - This does not include reading and preparation time.

Family Finding Social Worker/ Senior Practitioner
Family Finding Social Worker/ Senior Practitioner We are seeking a dynamic Family Finding Social Worker or Senior Practitioner wishing to play an active role in the delivery and development of a high quality family finding service for the London Borough of Hillingdon, for children with a plan for adoption. The post holder will have lead responsible professional for family finding, but will also assist the team with providing a statutory post adoption service [assessments for post adoption support and applications to the Adoption Support Fund] for families living within the local area. The post holder will be part of a small and very supportive team to develop practise and skills in this area. The post holder will also be able to have access resources and services within Hillingdon to support this role and be part of a bigger network of support from colleagues from across the RAA.
