IRM Medical Adviser
We are looking for a Medical Adviser to provide medical advice to IRM panels reviewing determinations by fostering agencies and determinations by adoption agencies in England who are minded not to approve or to terminate the approval of applicants. The Medical Adviser will be responsible to the IRM Contract Manager and Service Manager but will also need to develop working relationships with the IRM caseworkers and administrative team and the panels they are providing advice for.
Independent Review Mechanism
An hourly rate of £38.25 (currently under review) is payable for medical advice and £33.30 for panel attendance (also currently under review)

Adoption South East Panel Chair
Adoption South East is seeking to appoint an Independent Panel Chair for one of our three Adoption Panels. Adoption South East is the Regional Adoption Agency created by a strong and creative partnership between West Sussex, Brighton and Hove, East Sussex and Surrey Councils. The Independent Chair will be employed by East Sussex County Council who host the central functions of the Adoption South East and they will be supported by a Panels Manager, Panel Adviser and a Panel Administrator. The successful applicant will have current experience as the Chair of a Panel and have confidence in effectively chairing complex meetings. The Panel Chair will take responsibility for ensuring that business is conducted in accordance with the adoption regulations, standards, and guidance and in keeping with the regional agency's policies and procedures.

Social Worker - Birth Relatives Service
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated social worker eager to apply their expertise and experience to a new role. The successful candidate will become part of a supportive and collaborative team at one of the UK’s most successful adoption charities, rated outstanding by Ofsted since 2014. With social work experience with children and families, the postholder will support birth relatives whose children have a plan for adoption or have been placed for adoption. Working closely with colleagues in Buckinghamshire Council who will refer the relatives to PACT, the postholder will provide support through individual sessions, support groups and drop-in sessions. This role will include supporting birth relatives to meet with adoptive parents and to help birth relatives understand the importance for children, to keep connected to their relatives and significant people from their past.

Family Finding Social Worker/Senior Practitioner
We are seeking a dynamic Family Finding Social Worker or Senior Practitioner wishing to play an active role in the delivery and development of a high quality family finding service for the London Borough of Hillingdon, for children with a plan for adoption. The post holder will have lead responsible professional for family finding, but will also assist the team with providing a statutory post adoption service [assessments for post adoption support and applications to the Adoption Support Fund] for families living within the local area. The post holder will be part of a small and very supportive team to develop practise and skills in this area. The post holder will also be able to have access resources and services within Hillingdon to support this role and be part of a bigger network of support from colleagues from across the RAA.

Practice Manager (Lincolnshire)
The post holder will oversee first line management responsibility for individuals within the Fostering Team along with additional responsibilities as appropriate. This includes Supervising Social Workers, overseeing the Supervision and Support of Foster Carers and those working directly with children and young people cared for by Affinity in order to maintain placement stability. The Practice Manager is primarily concerned with ensuring high quality standards and compliance are achieved throughout the organisation, including regular auditing to ensure there is no gaps in compliance.

Social Worker
