Independent Fostering Panel Member Surrey County Council is seeking to appoint independent members to sit on our Fostering Panel. These roles are independent from Surrey County Council. As an independent member the postholder's work may be a combination of virtual fostering panels as well as some office working from our office in Woking or  Reigate. At interview the postholder will be asked about which location/s they are able to attend. Surrey County Council £300 for a full day or £150 for half a day. The job is varied and requires a high degree of flexibility. Successful applicants will need a good understanding of the issues facing children in care and their kinship carers including the impact of early trauma throughout the young persons childhood.
