Self-employed Form F Assessor As a self-employed worker with Barnardo’s, the post holder will be a part of our amazing team of professionals working with our organisational values at the heart of their everyday practice. We are recruiting registered social workers to undertake Form F assessments on an independent basis. This is a home working role, combined with face-to-face visits to families where the post holder will get to know the applicants better and undertake health & safety assessments. We are particularly looking for assessors who can potentially work with applicants across the South-East and South of England, including London and parts of Essex. Fostering Panel Chair
Fostering Panel Chair Hertfordshire Fostering Service is looking to recruit an experienced, self-employed professional, who holds a Social Work Qualification, to act as an Independent Chair for Hertfordshire Fostering Panels. It is desirable that applicants have existing experience as a Chair or Vice Chair of fostering panels, with an appreciation or lived experience of foster care. Administrator Contract: Fixed term until 28th February 2025. This is an exciting role for an Administrator to join our Adoption Team. The successful candidate will support the busy adoption telephone enquiry line and on line enquiries offering a crucial supportive role to the Duty Manager. This will involve responding to members of the public who want to find out more about adoption with Coram, providing advice and guidance as required. IRM Medical Adviser
IRM Medical Adviser We are looking for a Medical Adviser to provide medical advice to IRM panels reviewing determinations by fostering agencies and determinations by adoption agencies in England who are minded not to approve or to terminate the approval of applicants. The Medical Adviser will be responsible to the IRM Contract Manager and Service Manager but will also need to develop working relationships with the IRM caseworkers and administrative team and the panels they are providing advice for.
Independent Review Mechanism An hourly rate of £38.25 (currently under review) is payable for medical advice and £33.30 for panel attendance (also currently under review) Homebased Variable depending on service needs and caseload
