Fostering Panel Chair and Vice Chair We would like to appoint a new independent Panel Chair to join our Fostering Panel. The post holder should be an experienced Foster Parent, Panel Member or Vice Chair, with an appreciation or lived experience of Foster Care. The post holder should have an understanding of what should be offered by Foster Carers under the Fostering Standards; Fostering National Minimum Standards and Fostering Regulations. Fostering Panel Chair Luton Borough Council Fostering would like to appoint new Panel Members to join our Fostering Panel. We are seeking to appoint to the following roles: Independent Panel Members x4 – Foster Carers, Formerly Cared in Local Authority Care x2, Independent Social Workers x2.  The post holders should have relevant knowledge of the diverse needs of children who are Looked After and in foster care. The post holders should be passionate about making a difference to the lived experience of young people who are looked after and living away from Birth Families with Foster Parents in fostering homes. Adoption Panel Chair and Panel Members Barnardo's Adoption Midlands and South West is a voluntary adoption agency and we're seeking an Independent Panel Chair and Panel Members to join us. The panel has an oversight of recruitment and assessment of prospective adopters. Panel members together make recommendations on the suitability of applicants. We are seeking to appoint to the following roles: Experienced Independent Panel Chair; Independent Panel Vice Chair; Independent Panel Members from a range of disciplines, particularly from a medical/health background, education or registered Social Workers. The post holders should have relevant knowledge of the diverse needs of children who are Looked After and adopted. The post holders should be passionate about making a difference to the lived experience of children.
