Supervising Social Worker  By the Bridge is looking for 3 dedicated, proactive and forward thinking Supervising Social Workers with one vacancy available per regional team, in either Yorkshire, West Midlands or East Midlands. The post holders will join of one of these regional teams, offering direct support to our families with a realistic caseload (10-12 families). Working closely with key internal and external stakeholders, to enable foster parents to be informed, accept, understand and operate within the regulations and national minimum standards. The post holders will have support from the therapy team who will offer reflective supervision and also support from our Education Advisors (EAGALs) who build upon the therapeutic parenting work being carried out by our fantastic Foster Parents.

Reporting to our Regional Management Board represented by Directors/Assistant Directors of Children’s Services the post holder will be working with a range of national and regional stakeholders. Independent Fostering Panel Member Surrey County Council is seeking to appoint independent members to sit on our Fostering Panel. These roles are independent from Surrey County Council. As an independent member the postholder's work may be a combination of virtual fostering panels as well as some office working from our office in Woking or  Reigate. At interview the postholder will be asked about which location/s they are able to attend. Surrey County Council £300 for a full day or £150 for half a day.
