Action for Children fostering services offer therapeutic fostering homes to children and young people who have experienced disrupted attachments and Trauma. The services operate to our Homes Framework and supported by our psychological service partners we use PACE principles, DDP and therapeutic thinking to offer safe and stable homes to our children and young people. As a professional and engaged Chair of meetings the postholder will facilitate a diverse and committed Fostering panel. Keeping the experience of the Child at the Centre of your discussions you will lead the independent scrutiny of fostering assessments and reviews. The postholder will contribute to the Fostering Service safely recruiting Foster Carers that will be able to provide Safe and Stable Homes.

Adoption Service Manager
The postholder's role will cover the Adoption South East region, namely Surrey, East and West Sussex and Brighton and Hove. The postholder will be expected at times to travel across the region between office bases in Woking, Reigate, Horsham and Lewes, with your named office base in Woking.
