Social Worker
We are looking for a Social Worker or Senior Social Worker to join our team, based from either Milton Keynes or London. As a Social Worker, the postholder will bring a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in childcare social work and as a Senior Social Worker, a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience. The postholder will have an understanding of child development, the impact on behaviour of interrupted development and will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity, equity and inclusion within service delivery. The postholder will undertake ‘home study’ assessments (PARs) and present these to the adoption panel and support families throughout the matching process once children are placed, up until the Adoption Order. The role will also include participating in recruitment activities and training for prospective adopters.
PACT - Parents And Children Together
Social Worker - Salary in the range of £34,053 - £41,620 per annum. Senior Social Worker - Salary in the range of £39,292 - £48,022 per annum. If based from our London office, a location allowance of £3,299 per annum will be payable.
Based in either our Milton Keynes or our London team, with hybrid working arrangements in place for both home and office working, and travel covering Milton Keynes, North London and surrounding areas.
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Adoption Quality and Development Lead
We are looking for a qualified and registered social worker with substantial post-qualification experience in adoption and children’s services, including quality assurance and inspection preparation. The postholder will have excellent knowledge of adoption legislation and standards, strong analytical and organisational skills, and the ability to influence and advise at all levels. Fostering Medical Advisor
We are seeking a Fostering Medical Advisor to provide professional medical oversight of foster carers health information. The role primarily involves reviewing medical (AH2) reports provided by foster carers GP’s, summarising relevant health information, and advising the agency on medical suitability in line with fostering standards.

Independent Adoption Panel Chair
Our external Adoption Panel Members play a vital role at PACT by carefully considering applications from those wishing to become adoptive parents. We are currently seeking an independent Adoption Panel Chair, to lead our online panel in making fair, informed recommendation outcomes to a high quality standard.

Payment rate of £500 per panel, plus reasonable expenses incurred
Panel sessions are held online. Training in Reading and London.
Approximately 20 panel sessions per year
