We are excited to announce that this year's Members’ Week will take place between 23 – 27 September. The focus of the week will be “Listening to the child...” and each day will explore a different theme relating to the diverse experiences and challenges faced by children and young people in adoption, foster care and kinship care.
Daily themes
Monday 23 September – Identity
Tuesday 24 September – Making successful plans for staying in touch
Wednesday 25 September – Working with schools to listen to children and meet their educational needs
Thursday 26 September – Health and mental health
Friday 27 September – How direct work enables us to really listen to children and young people
Across the week we aim to deliver an exciting mix of live events, blogs, podcast episodes, journal articles, pre-recorded bitesize workshops and more.
