Independent Social Worker Barnardo’s wish to recruit Independent Social Workers to help with our adoption work in the South West, Midlands, London, South East, East Anglia and Thames Valley areas. The post holders will be qualified and experienced Social Workers who have experience of carrying out adoption assessments. The postholders will work independently as external consultants on a freelance basis and will be supported by a Practice Manager and will be invited to training events and external consultant forums on a regular basis. Independent Social Worker We are seeking to recruit experienced freelance Social Workers to assess applicants for their suitability as adoptive parents and Early Permanence carers. The postholders must be able to take work in London and the surrounding counties. Applicants must be self-motivated, able to work to deadlines and be flexible in meeting the needs of the applicants and the agency. Substantial experience in adoption work is essential. An Induction and ongoing training will be provided.

Coram Ambitious for Adoption £2,300 - £2,600 per assessment. Additional fees paid for post approval and post placement support.
