Adoption Service Manager The postholder's role will cover the Adoption South East region, namely Surrey, East and West Sussex and Brighton and Hove. The postholder will be expected at times to travel across the region between office bases in Woking, Reigate, Horsham and Lewes, with your named office base in Woking. The Supervising Social Worker (SSW) will supervise, manage, support, develop, recruit, and retain foster parents. The SSW will provide foster parents with a high level of support that enables them to give the best possible outcomes to the children and young people placed with Hope Fostering. Independent Social Worker Barnardo’s wish to recruit Independent Social Workers to help with our adoption work predominantly in the Bristol, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset and Birmingham areas. We will accept applications from other geographical areas within our region. We are looking for qualified and experienced Social Workers who have experience of carrying out adoption assessments. Although the postholders will work independently as external consultants on a freelance basis, the postholders will be supervised and supported in their work by a Practice Manager and will be invited to training events and external consultant forums on a regular basis.
