Service delivery in the Thames Valley Region. The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of work with our valued applicants from the early stages of recruitment, initial interview, preparation, and training, through to successful placement and post placement support up to the making of the adoption order. Parents And Children Together Salary ranges from £31,483 - £38,479 per annum for Social Worker, and £36,326 to £44,399 for Senior Social Worker. Based in Reading with Hybrid Working 37
Children and Families Support Worker (Early Permanence Project)
Children and Families Support Worker (Early Permanence Project) This role is a key post in an innovative early permanence project in partnership with Adopt South. Early Permanence is the arrangement where a child is placed with a family at the earliest opportunity. This is achievable by placing a child with approved adopters who have been prepared and assessed as suitable to undertake a temporary fostering role, who are then able to go on to adopt the child once the court proceedings have been concluded. We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of adoption and/or fostering acquired through a personal, professional or voluntary capacity. The post holder will be confident and experienced in providing exemplary support to families.
Parents And Children Together Salary in the range £23,793 – £29,079 per annum, £3,299 per annum location allowance payable if based in London Based in Reading or London with additional remote working at home arrangements in place 37

Senior Safeguarding and Quality Practice Manager – Adoption
Senior Safeguarding and Quality Practice Manager – Adoption This is a role is for a Social Work England registered and qualified Social Worker who will lead on the Access to records, Non recent abuse and Managing allegations aspects of the Safeguarding and Quality Practice teams work. The post holder will also hold registered manager status with Ofsted and be a subject expert for the team in the areas which fall within your remit. Assistant Team Manager, Adoption Team We are looking for an Assistant Team Manager. Working closely with the Team Manager, the post holder will provide support and supervision to a team of dedicated and experienced social workers. This will include managing workloads across the team as well as coaching and supervising team members to ensure that the highest standards of quality and professional practice are achieved and maintained, and they reach their full potential. In addition, the post holder will carry their own small caseload and deputise for the Team Manager as needed.

Independent Social Worker
Independent Social Worker Barnardo’s wish to recruit Independent Social Workers to help with fostering and adoption work in the South West, Midlands and Thames Valley areas (particularly seeking applicants who can cover Bristol). The post holders will have experience of carrying out adoption or fostering assessments. The candidates will work independently as an external consultants on a freelance basis, and will be supervised and supported in work by a Practice Manager and will be invited to training events and external consultant forums on a regular basis. The role will include initial visits or video calls to prospective adopters and foster carers, completing full adoption and fostering assessments and writing AARs (Adoption Assessment Reports) or Form Fs, reporting to Panel, and occasional additional work to support our families, such as attending reviews or matching panels. There is an agreed fee for completing this work and travel expenses are paid, as well as occasional essential accommodation.
