Head of RAA Operations Coram Ambitious for Adoption is a unique Regional Adoption Agency, being a Voluntary Adoption Agency commissioned to deliver the adoption services for nine local authorities. This role is a Coram Appointment to lead the RAA operations across our local authority partners providing professional leadership staff and services and outcomes for children in adoption consistent with best practice and fulfilment of statutory and regulatory requirements. Administrative Assistant (Training and Events) We are a looking for an administrative assistant to join our small but busy, dedicated and friendly team. We arrange over 150 courses a year for more than 3000 people on a wide range of topics supporting practitioners in adoption, fostering and kinship. Courses are delivered online as well as in person. We pride ourselves on working as collaboratively as possible, while also recognising our individual areas of expertise and responsibility. The postholder will play a key part in the effective coordination and smoothly running of our training and events programme. James Bury, CoramBAAF’s Head of Policy, Research and Development, shares reflections on a key report that has been launched this week. ‘Increasing access to evidence-informed mental health service provision for children in care in England – National recommendations for change’ was authored by Professor Rachel Hiller alongside key academic authors and contributors and has been supported by CoramBAAF, UCL and UK Trauma Council.

Team Manager (Fostering) As a Team Manager (Fostering) at Community Foster Care the postholder will promote the ambitions and dreams of children, by leading and enabling our team of Supervising Social Workers and Family Support Workers, whilst reporting to the Registered Manager.  The postholder will do this by recruiting, enabling and enhancing foster families to provide safe, stable, loving, nurturing family homes.  The postholder will harness CFC resources and therapeutic approach to achieve this. We have two Team Manager posts, one based in Lancaster and one in Gloucester.
